Antigua and Caribbean yacht charters from Adventure Caribbean.

Overnight or three day trips

For those lucky enough to have the chance, a two or three day charter aboard JABBERWOCKY offers  a wider scope for exploration and adventure

Two Days

Green Island lies just off the south eastern coast of Antigua at the entrance to Nonsuch Bay. Starting from the historic setting of Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour an adrenaline charged sail upwind brings you to the shelter of Green Island and its adjacent reef. Anchored in calm water inside the reef you can look out eastwards into the Atlantic knowing that nothing lies between you and Africa
Swim and snorkel from the yacht or ride in the dinghy across to Green Island with its reefs and beaches.
As dinner is served watch a myriad of stars appear in a night sky clear of artificial light.
Next morning after breakfast and perhaps another swim or snorkel enjoy an exhilarating downwind sail back to English Harbour

Sailing Excursion

Great Bird Island lies off the north western coast of Antigua and offers superb snorkelling swimming or just relaxing. Starting from English Harbour or Jolly Harbour JABBERWOCKY sails clockwise north and then east around the northern coast of Antigua to the reef strewn area south of Jumby Bay. As the afternoon draws on the area becomes quieter leaving the reef and island for your undisturbed pleasure.
After sunset enjoy the freshly prepared dinner whilst watching the lights of Antigua in the distance

Three days

This opens up various options including an extension of the itineraries around Antigua or a open sea passage to another island

Guadeloupe which is a French colony lies 45 miles south of Antigua and offers 6 or 7 hours sailing trip in each direction with a day ashore in between.
On the first day departing from the historic Nelson’s Dockyard in English Harbour (after clearing customs and immigration) to enjoy an open sea passage to Deshailes on the north western coast of Guadaloupe arriving in time for a visit ashore to sample the French ambiance.
On the second day (whilst the Captain deals with customs and immigration matters) hire a car or take a taxi trip into the mountains to walk through the rain forests to waterfalls or enjoy the French influence in the Caribbean and dine ashore.
On the third day after fresh breakfast a sail back to English Harbour in time to deal with customs and immigration and disembark at about 4.30pm

Ropes, decks & turqoise sea

Barbuda lies 25 miles north of Antigua (being only 115 feet at its highest point) and offers reefs and deserted beaches.
Starting from Jolly Harbour we sail north along the western coast of Antigua and then across open sea to reach Barbuda by about 3 pm and a chance for a late afternoon swim or snorkel.
Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner under a starlit night sky unspoilt by artificial light.
After breakfast enjoy a day of swimming and snorkelling or going ashore to explore the northern parts of the island by taxi or to enjoy the mile long beaches.
On day three after a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a quick final swim, sail back to English Harbour to arrive back at about 4.30pm
